You may already be familiar with author Tomie dePaola, whose wonderful Strega Nona is a staple in many home libraries. However, our kids have recently been enchanted by dePaola’s simple, beautiful storytelling in his many Christmas books. Particular favorites include The Friendly Beasts and The Night of Las Posadas, but dePaola has many, many Christmas stories that are all worth their salt.
