Sometimes I walk into our neighborhood library and can’t believe that all these wonderful resources are available to us for free!
Then I remember that I’m paying for it with my tax dollars.
You’re already paying for your local library, too, so you might as well use it. It makes absolutely no sense to buy books when a massive treasury of them is housed down the street, particularly if, like us, you don’t have limitless money and space to buy and then store things.
As we prepare for our trip to Olympic National Park this summer, we are using the library to gather a variety of resources about the Pacific Northwest, including story books about common animals, poems and nonfiction resources about tide pools, and Native American tales from the region.
How are you using the resources available through your library this week?
